Spicy Veggie Pizza

In my family we love our spices, so you know we gotta add a little bit of Indian to everything Italian we make. Here is my twist on a classic veggie pizza. Let me know in the comments below what you think or if your family is the same way!

Ingredients:

  • Pre-made pizza dough (I used Molinaros Pizza Kit from Costco)
  • Tomato Sauce(given in the kit)
  • 1/3 tablespoon of chilli powder
  • 1/3 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon of oregano
  • 1/4 tablespoon of Creole seasoning
  • Salt
  • 1/3 cup of Mushrooms
  • 1/3 cup of Red onions
  • 1/3 cup of Red or Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 cup of Spinach
  • 1/3 cup of Roma Tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/4 cup of Cheddar Cheese
  • Basil Pesto sauce

Directions:

Preheat Oven to 450 Degrees

  • In a bowl add tomato sauce, chilli powder, garlic powder, oregano, creole seasoning and salt to taste. Stir well and set aside
  • On a round pizza pan, wrap tin foil and place pizza crust on pan
  • Thinly cut red onions, mushrooms, red bell peppers, roma tomatoes.
  • On the outer edge of the pizza ( the crust) spread the basil pesto sauce. In the center add you tomato sauce and spread evenly across the pizza
  • Add spinach, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and roma tomatoes evenly across pizza.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the veggies
  • Add a little bit of red pepper flakes for that extra kick
  • Place in over for 10-15 min until veggies are cooked and cheese is melted.
  • Cut into slices and enjoy!!
